Done and Done!!!

My finishes for Finish Along Q3
My original post is here....

I am so in love with this quilt!
I looks a little crooked but I was not sure where I was going to hang it so I neglected to put the center opening in the sleeve to accommodate the rod in the bedroom. I will eventually take it down and fix it.........when it bugs me enough!

This baby is not my fav but it's finished and will hang this weekend in the museum for our guild's Culture Days exhibit, maybe it will sell?

I stepped WAY out of my comfort zone this week and put these pieces on display at the Chamber of Commerce office in the old railway station.
They are hosting a commission free art sale as their Culture days event.

Here the list of events going on this weekend!

Have a great weekend everyone, hope to see some locals at the museum Saturday!

almost there!

These two are almost done!
Black and yellow needs a label and to be washed, super nova needs binding stitched down and label and a wash, but I will make the Finish Along deadline!

Block three of Linda's Stash Buster Quilt along, bit of reverse stitching on this one, too much attention to Sons of Anarchy and not enough to the layout!

Baby quilt #2 and my Festival of the Trees project ready to cut out

Baby quilt #1 one well under way

A couple of rainy days off is good for the productivity!

Hoping my finished bunch arrive back from their little show in BC soon so I can get them all up on the design wall and start planning a layout!

More progress

My second block for Linda's Quilt Along, so far so good in keeping up! It is helping me get back down to the sewing room every week.

Another one ready to bind. The weather is predicted to turn more fall like next week so I will be less inclined to prefer being outside. On to making baby quilts!

Taking another art class.
I am not a big fan of drawing but I know it is because I am not good at it, so this class is intended to stretch my artistic muscles........and I am kinda enjoying it!

Off to kayak down the river, sadly will most likely be the last outing this year.
Have a great week!

Progress

The weather is still amazing but fall has arrived at our house with meetings and activities already back in full swing!
Although life has gotten busy really fast, I have managed to quilt a little.

Week one of Linda's quilt along, completed just in time!
Week two block went up this morning.

The quilt with no name is all quilted, just needs the binding stitched down. It is just far too warm here right now to have a quilt on my lap.

Ahhhh, finally getting to my beloved Super Nova, it was the motivation to get the other one done!
Hope to finish marking and get to quilting it on my days off this next week.
